Infinity beard video

In my post about making an illustration of Aubrey de Grey and his infinty beard I show all the different moments of his beard growth. Later I thought, I can animate and show this best in a video, this was a great exercise to do in Animate CC. I could also have done it in the timeline in Photoshop or in a video editor.  Anyway, the choice was to use Animate CC.

The original file was an svg export from Affinity Designer. In Adobe illustrator the svg opened and saved as AI file. When importing this file it went wrong in Animate CC. The file was far too complex because of the many layers. Therefore I exported the artboards as png to make the video with. Two things I learned from this process. Next time I will reduce the layers in Affinity Designer in advance, it will help me with further actions. And another learning moment was that I had worked out too few keyframes with the different moments of his beard growth. But still it was fun to do and the result is fine.
